gafón

m. Herraje de dos piezas articuladas con que se fijan puertas y ventanas al quicial, para que puedan girar. La parte clavada al quicial es cilíndrica y dobla en ángulo recto. La que va en la hoja de la puerta o de la ventana, forma un ojo que encaja en la parte cilíndrica. Es más resistente que la bisagra y permite con más facilldad quitar puerta y ventana.
